The Manhattan Hotel is amazing! My daughter and I stayed there for the experience of what her wedding guests should expect in October. We were not disappointed. Everything about The Manhattan was above our expectations, including Penny who was so helpful with everything we needed. I am returning to this beautiful hotel with my husband in early August for our 35th wedding anniversary. We can't wait!
Loved being right over the river and in downtown . Our room was very nice , clean , and beds were extremely comfortable . It had all of the amenities we needed along with an outside balcony which provided a close view of kayakers , surfers and rafters in the river below . The attached NY style pizza restaurant was the best ! Will definitely stay here again !
Wow! What a patio view of the river and Rusty gave such amazing service, especially for a self service hotel! He was awesome. I stayed in room 1, it was next to the Pizza restaurant Nextdoor which was convenient, but when they close at night, it’s pretty loud. But you can’t beat the location- Will definitely stay here again.
If we could give a million stars we would! Thanks for saving our vacation Andrew! We were booked at another property which was very sketchy and made us itch just stepping foot in the room. We decided to leave there having already paid for the night and take our losses and looked for an alternative place to stay. Enter The Manhattan. We called and explained our predicament to Andrew who graciously agreed to meet us at his property within ten minutes so we could check it out beforehand. It was evident that he takes pride in keeping his place clean and safe for his guests. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. We so enjoyed our stay and highly recommend and would love to come back to stay longer! Thank you Andrew for your wonderful hospitality!
I loved staying here! As a staycation option, it was everything I wanted. I liked the ease of checking in and out. The host Penny was great with communication and all the instructions were easy to follow. I loved the location and especially the balcony. I will definitely come back!

We loved our one night stay at the Manhattan Hotel Salida a week ago. Easy to access. Really clean room, smartly appointed. Comfortable bed. Fabulous little balcony overlooking the Arkansas River. Location couldn't be sweeter: right on the river, overlooking the park and the river path. Variety of restaurants. We look forward to staying here again.
